Technical guide

Prepare the foundation, utilities and service plan before the machine arrives

A practical site-preparation summary from the company archive. Final construction must follow the project foundation drawing and qualified local engineering advice.

Site preparation

Foundation planning for large CNC machines

Horizontal and gantry machining centers require planned load capacity, vibration control and adequate curing time.

01

Professional design

Have a qualified designer prepare the foundation around the machine, maximum workpiece load and local soil conditions.

02

Load and concrete

The archived guideline uses at least 10 t/m² and C25–C30 concrete as reference values; the project drawing remains authoritative.

03

Vibration and sealing

Keep the machine away from vibration sources. Add isolation where needed and protect the pit from water, oil and corrosion.

04

Flatness and curing

Archived guidance limits full-length foundation flatness to 10 mm, followed by at least 28 days curing and 7 days preloading.

05

Anchors and grouting

Reserve anchor pockets from the machine foundation drawing and use continuous, non-shrink high-strength grouting.

06

Pre-arrival review

Confirm power, air, lifting access, transport route, chip handling and coolant facilities before delivery.

Project support

From workpiece drawing to stable production

Delivery scope varies by machine and project. Installation, commissioning, training, acceptance and warranty terms follow the final quotation and contract.

  1. 01Workpiece and cycle-time review
  2. 02Machine, spindle and fixture proposal
  3. 03Site and foundation confirmation
  4. 04Installation, commissioning and operator training
  5. 05Acceptance, spares and long-term support
